What's the next step?

 

Usually, the first step is to complete a health history form, available from your potential recipient's transplant center. Contact the center directly, or ask your potential recipient for infomation.

Some transplant centers allow you to submit a health history by telephone. Typically, after a nurse reviews your health history, the center will notify you to start preliminary testing (blood draw, urine collection, and blood pressure readings).
